What to do in Lima’s hippest neighborhood

Touted one of the best chifa (Chinese) restaurants in Lima, think big at Chung Yion, which is also known by the moniker Unión. It’s best to arrive hungry, the better to take in the vast, steaming vats of wonton in multi-meat broth and mountains of chaufa rice. If you can gather a group, upgrade to a cozy booth outfitted with mustard yellow-curtains for the ultimate private dining experience.
